Curated Tour:  Fallout: Atoms for War & Peace

The co-curators of this exhibit, Angela Lippert (PH Executive Director) and Tim Medland, introduce us to a fascinating display of images chronicling the global development of the nuclear industry, examining posters that both promoted and protested its use. It features the entire General Dynamics series, long heralded as one of the finest examples of corporate propaganda ever created, as well as over 60 other posters criticizing the proliferation of nuclear technology. As the first poster museum in the United States, Poster House explores mass communication and persuasion, the intersection of art and commerce, and control of the public domain.
